July goals and mantras

goals and mantras

How are we in July already?  Seriously?  I say it every month but this year is just flying.  I wish there was a pause button because 2019 is just whizzing by.

As today is the first Monday of the month it means linking up with Lindsay http://theflynnigans.com/ Charlotte http://mypixieblog.com/ and Beth http://coffeeuntilcocktailsblog.com/ with monthly goals and mantras.

Lets see how I did with June’s goals:

  • Get back into gym routine – Could have done better
  • Go to Yoga
  • Read 3 books – Read one book.  ONE!  How did that happen?!
  • Update blog 10 times and schedule posts where possible  Blogged 11 times 🙂
  • Re-organise kitchen cupboards
  • SORT STUDY CUPBOARD – almost finished.  Better than nothing!

July goals:

  • Send more guest blogger articles for CMIYC
  • Spend more time at gym and continue going to yoga
  • Read 3 books
  • Make time for creative writing
  • Make hubby’s birthday awesome

My mantra for July is being carried over from June  “When I loved myself enough, I began leaving whatever wasn’t healthy.  This meant people, jobs, my own beliefs and habits – anything that kept me small.  My judgement called it disloyal.  Now I see it as self-loving.” – Kim McMillen

Here is to a great month!

  1. Self-love and self-care are so important, and often the first forgotten or pushed aside when life gets busy! Hope you find time for both this month, and good luck with your July goals!

  2. Blogging must burn calories, Anthea. Because I’m always hungry either before, during or after I blog! For sure sorting that study cupboard must.
