And February is here!

Lets see how I did on my January goals:

  • Continue going to yoga No and I’m disappointed I didn’t make time
  • Try something new at gym  Tried a Pound class and went 3 times!
  • Update blog 10 times  Did a couple more!
  • Keep holiday feeling alive!  Less stress more laughter.  Could be better at this.
  • Read 3 books
  • Spend more time outside, less online.
  • SORT BOOKCASE  Yes at long last!  It looks great!

I’m pretty pleased with my goals overall.  The yoga would have made a huge difference to a really busy month and I should have made more time.  January had some really busy weeks and I took a days leave for my birthday so last week felt like a crazy rush.

February goals are:

  • Go to yoga as often as I can
  • Read 3 books
  • Do a birthday recap post on my blog
  • Blog 8 times
  • Organise bathroom cupboard
  • 1-2 days offline a week

    You did good on your January goals! And it’s ok that there is something to strive for this month! Sorting your bookcase is huge! I know how large a project that can be! I hope that it’s a great February!

    Oooh, I love the goal of going offline a few days a week and would love to really do that. I feel like because so much of what I do requires the internet and social media, it’s practically impossible to completely avoid it bit that’s what the weekends are all about. Awesome job on sorting your bookshelf! I need to do that one, too. Here’s to a great February!

    I always enjoy reading your goals posts because they aren’t complicated or convoluted. 🙂
    You may not have gone to yoga but you did do that other class you were telling me about that you enjoyed, too. I seriously need to stop saying it and actually find a yoga class, at least one a week, that I will go to faithfully. Grr. The classes at my gym are kinda meh so I’m never really into those, I’ve got to scope out a nearby studio and see if one of their classes suits my schedule. Problem is, I love power yoga and getting a good sweat on but that’s not what I need. I need something more mellow and relaxing, ya know?

    Anyways, cheers to another great month (that’s already half done!!) and happy valentines love!

      Thank Lindsay! I love doing this link up with you all and it always motivates me to get stuff done!
      You say you want a good sweat during yoga – do you have classes in a heated studio? I’ve heard that they are a great way to workout. Perhaps look into those? I’ve never done power yoga before and don’t think it is offered where I go. The classes I’ve attended have been so relaxing that I feel like I’ve done something good for my soul and body when I do a session. I just need to make the time to go.
      Sorry your gym’s classes aren’t great – the one I go to has quite alot to choose from but I’ve only ever done a spin class and Pound.
      Hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day. How are we on the 16th February already?
