Humpday confessions

Hump day confessions.jpg

This is a 4 day week for me yet it seems to be taking ages for Thursday (and my 3 day weekend to arrive).  Anyway time for confessions.

#1  I keep saying I’m going to spend less time on social media but that is as far as it goes.  One of the things I love about Facebook is the Peaceful Posse and catching up with fellow bloggers.

But there are things about FB that don’t bring joy and I’m wasting precious time getting irritated or annoyed.  I guess I could update settings or have offline days but how many of us are able to do this?

#2  On Monday I had such good intentions to go to gym then have a super healthy dinner.  Did neither.

#3  The clutterbug in me did some clearing out at work the other day.  I tidied my drawers and now actually have space to put things in them.  I still don’t know if I’m proud or secretly horrified at how much junk I’ve stored in my desk but it is lovely now that drawers can close properly!

#4  Recently I’ve guessed the ending to 2 books, a horror movie and the episode of Station 19 which I watched last night.  I love twists in a book or movie and predicting the outcome ruins it.

#5  I love the sitcom “The Goldbergs” and am still laughing at the episode where the family go out for Erica’s birthday and make numerous scenes in the restaurant.  I’m known for wanting to move to different tables because it is too hot or too cold and knowing Beverley Goldberg can relate makes me feel so much better 🙂

What about you?  What do you want to get off your chest?

xx

I hear you about FB, I have moments where I want to just shut it all down but then I’m like, wait, I can’t do it! I have a bad habit of predicting the end of things too. I don’t verbalize it though, but my husband will and he’s spoiled more movies and TV shows that way!

I haven’t heard of The Goldbergs, that sounds really funny. I’ll have to check it out. 🙂

I agree about FB. There are a handful of FB groups that I like to chit chat in every day, but the rest of it is so tiresome and annoying and overly dramatic.

FB is a love-hate relationship. I rarely post anything there (besides my automatically posted workouts LOL), but I do enjoy a couple of groups that I am part off… so I try to limit the time that I spend just “scrollling” and focus on these groups when I go online.

I hear you about FB. I need to seriously clean everything up and make it less crazy for me to look at. My confessions today would be, I wasn’t in work mode today so I mostly checked Facebook. LOL

Hah! I love that episode of The Goldbergs. Such a good show. I love Facebook in terms of keeping in touch with people – and awesome FB groups – but it can be quite a downer sometimes. Have you tried muting some of the people you follow? You still follow them, but their posts don’t show up in your feed!
