Hello Friday!

What a week!  Work has been super busy – it was our quarter end so the days have flown by in a mad rush.

When the alarm went off this morning I just thought TGIF!  Weekend is here!

Each Friday I share my gratitude list and link up with Lindsay http://theflynnigans.com/ Charlotte http://mypixieblog.com/ and Beth http://coffeeuntilcocktailsblog.com/ called What’s up weekend?  Bloggers share their gratitude lists and it is a great way to start the weekend.  My list this week:

  • Treated myself with a DKNY Nectar Love gift set.  Stunning scent.

  • Dinner at one of our favourite restaurants on Tuesday night.
  • I’ve been lazy with preparing lunch and so I ordered through work this week.  It was very convenient and saved time going to the shops at lunchtime.
  • Glitter nail polish that changes in the sun.  Looks like clear glitter indoors and goes a pretty peach shade outside.
  • Reorganising our bedside tables and decluttering some drawers.
  • Wore my new navy floral dress yesterday.  Forgot to take pic but will be wearing it again soon.
  • The series “Life in pieces”.  Jen is my favourite character.
  • Getting a Lindt orange chocolate today from a colleague as a thank you for something I’d helped with.
  • The first cup of tea in the morning while I read. This week has been hectically busy but I kept my this routine and it helped.
  • Getting a last minute appointment at one of my favourite spas for tomorrow.

Tomorrow we are going to do a day trip to Langebaan and I’ve getting a manicure, pedicure and my eyebrows seen to.  Cannot wait for some pampering and relaxation.

What is on your gratitude list this week?  Anything special planned for the weekend?

xx

The glitter polish sounds so fun and fancy! I used to watch Life in Pieces and then kind of stopped for some reason, but I did enjoy it so I should start it up again, especially when I see the first season is on Netflix. I hope you have a fantastic weekend!!

I stumbled on the series one evening and so we haven’t seen the start. Now I see season 1 is re-starting so I’m hoping to catch up.
Have a wonderful weekend – you must be so glad Nate is back!

She is super funny. The way she says everything calmly and wears that expression on her face – hilarious.

Where did you find that nail polish?! I’m so curious to try it! I swear, reorganizing and decluttering is my love language lol. It makes me so happy to walk into a clean apartment and not trip over things.

Hope you are enjoying the weekend and yay for caring coworkers!!

I bought it in Sun City at a shop called Del Sol. Here is the company’s website http://www.delsol.com/
This weekend went far too quickly and I cannot believe it is Monday already. Here is to a good week ahead 🙂

    Hey love,
I found that last week and this week too have been NUTS, what the heck?!
How lovely to treat yourself to some nice perfume. How would you describe it? I’m super picky what I like as I don’t like too many strong scents. I prefer fresh out of the shower type scents and light floral scents are nice. I had this one DKNY perfume years ago called….I had to look it up, Cashmere Mist and I recall really liking that then, so I’m sure this new one of hers is also nice.

I hope you had a really, really great week hun. It’s almost Friday again. 🙂 🙂 xoxo

I’m the same – I don’t like a perfume that is too heavy. This one I can describe as floral and fruity at the same time (if that makes sense). I love DKNY – one of my favourites was DKNY Pure which had an amazing scent but I haven’t seen this in a while.
Last week was hectic – I had a cold that turned into flu and I’m still trying to get rid of the cough. I’m catching up on blogs – hope you had a great weekend.
      xoxo

I feel so much better for it! It is my time and I find I’m more productive anyway when I’ve had quiet time before a hectic day.
