Both quotes tie in perfectly with my word for 2018. This year my word is release and it is something I plan to do going forward.

My goals for January are:

  • Get back into a fitness routine. Run a couple of times a week.
  • Look into gym classes to shake my routine up (once I get into one that is)
  • Plan meals for the week
  • Declutter kitchen cupboards
  • Read 2 books
  • Blog more often and schedule posts ahead of time.
  • Plan birthday – my birthday is in 4 weeks 😊

    I need to start running again! I keep setting my alarm early in the morning and then just snooze it again. One of my goals is to run a 5k marathon, but to do so I really need to start moving! 🙂

    I love that first quote so much. It is definitely something I’ll be working on this month. I’m on project declutter too. It becomes so apparent right after the holidays just how much STUFF we have. And we don’t need that much stuff!

    Great quotes! My goal for January is just to survive it! LOL . Its colder than normal in South Texas and this island girl is struggling to stay warm! Plus the boys are not excited to get back to school and our routines are a mess. But everything will settle in a week or 2 I hope. I need to go through my cabinets as well. I know there are things in there I haven’t used in years!

      Thank you – I found those two quotes really spoke to me!
      I hope that January is a good month for you – I also prefer warmer weather and I’m dreading the colder months later this year.
      I’ve also got to clear out stuff that is just gathering dust. Hoping to get some done this weekend.

    I love both of those quotes so much! And yay for getting back on the fitness bandwagon; I’m trying to do this myself (I’ll admit; I’ve been slacking with this cold weather but my body needs it!).

    I haven’t made my goals for January just yet but plan to share them next week!!

      Thank you – they seemed so fitting for my word for 2018.
      At least you can blame the weather – my only excuse is I’m too tired after work lol!

    Awesome quotes! I hope you have a GREAT birthday month. I really need to work on writing and scheduling posts ahead of time. I might have to work on that in the next couple days. I’m thinking of joining a gym too but maybe not until February. This month my dance classes start again and I want to get back into that groove – as well as continue to do some yoga classes with a friend.

      You must be looking forward to your dance classes starting again this month. I’m also keen to do some yoga or pilates – it is so relaxing.
