Weekly gratitude list

Another busy week!  Another 7 days gone by and copious amounts of tea downed!

This time of year is always so busy and I try very hard to take a step back at times and soak up the festivity and not the stress!  Sometimes easier said than done but I’m working on it.

I love Fridays because there is an awesome link up that takes place with Lindsay http://theflynnigans.com/ Charlotte http://mypixieblog.com/ and Beth http://www.thebethnextdoor.com/  called What’s up weekend?  Bloggers share their gratitude lists and it is a great way to start the weekend as we look back on the positives of the past week.

My list this week:

  1. Good news regarding my Mother-in-law. Dr is happy with how the op went and she isn’t having to have chemo.  We are so relieved and grateful!
  2. Getting a last minute hairdressing appointment over the weekend.
  3. New Christmas CD’s.
  4. Hubby and I did some gardening on Sunday – a good workout and back garden is looking tidier!
  5. Monday was a super long day and we decided on a spontaneous date night! Went to the movies to see “Bad Mom’s Christmas” and then to Cattle Baron for dinner.
  6. Pizza.  I had it twice this week 😉
  7. Awesome workout on Wednesday after work
  8. Fun department lunch on Thursday.
  9. Slightly cooler weather after the super hot days last week.
  10. My Garmin watch – loving it soooooooo much 🙂

What is on your gratitude list today?

xx

Good to hear about your mother in law. REally really good. My good friend is going through chemo right now and just had a double mastectomy. It is so scary waiting on all the tests and news. Like waiting on pins and needles.
I really want to see that movie – I’ll probably end up waiting till it come out on Netflix! My son has his movies all lined up for the holidays already LOL!

The waiting is so hectic because every day seems to drag as you wait for test results. Sorry about your friend and hope that she gets good news and heals quickly.
Hoping that 2018 is a good year for you.

That is great news about your MIL! Celebrate with pizza!

Side note: this summer come kids in the neighborhood left a fun sign on our door with activities for us to do in the summer. One of them said, “Spend time with pizza!” It is now my life motto.

    Hello my dear,
That’s excellent news about your mother in law. Both on the operation side but also the chemo aspect. Really, really good news. 🙂
Wasn’t Bad Moms so funny?! Lol! We watched it a couple of weeks ago.
Glad you’re loving the watch. Mine died yesterday mid day and I was lost without it, not to mention putting on a regular watch to tide me over was weird. Lol!

Hope you’re having a good/easy week love. xoxo

Oh my goodness that movie is so hilarious – I want to watch it again.
Loving my watch and yes I’m also lost without it when the battery is flat – cannot wait to charge it.
I’m so behind on the blogging and will catch up on yours today 🙂
